A Certified Professional Photographer and award-winning artist, Lorraine's passion for photography is rooted in a lifetime of capturing stories. From her early days photographing alongside her father to earning advanced certifications and accolades, Lorraine has dedicated herself to mastering the art of visual storytelling.
She holds her Fellowship with the Dallas Professional Photographers of America and is currently pursuing her Master of Photography, Photographic Craftsman, and Master Artist degrees, further refining her craft to offer clients unparalleled artistry..
As a mother of eight and former foster parent to 99 children, Lorraine's nurturing spirit and love for connection shine through in every session. She believes that photography is more than an image - it's a timeless narrative of love, strength, and individuality.
Lorraine and Steve have build a life dedicated to capturing meaningful stories, whether through fine art portraiture, destination photography, or heartfelt moments with clients in their studio. Their love for travel allows them to offer bespoke sessions across the United States and internationally, combining luxury with adventure.

This cherished family photo, taken on Mother's Day 2017, features all eight of their childen. As their children have grown and embarked on their own journeys, Lorraine and Steve now enjoy life with their youngest, a junior at Holliday High School.
Steve is more than an assistant - he is Lorraine's right-hand man and husband and is an integral part of the client experience. Present at every session except boudoir, Steve ensures a seamless and enjoyable process for every client. His strength and willingness to jump in - whether it's setting up elaborate scenes or moving equipment, and ability to bring smiles make him indispensable in creating unforgettable moments.
When not behind the scenes at Lorraine Howard Photography, Steve works as a broker, specializing in Property and Casualty, Commercial, and Life Insurance needs through Gold Shield Insurance Agency, LLC, which he co-owns with Lorraine.
Steve is also a talented musician with a passion for singing and performing. You can often find him gigging around town or leading worship at church. If you're lucky, you might even convince him to sing or play his guitar during your session, adding a touch of joy and music to your experience.
