Photography Studio opening in Winnsboro TX

We are so excited to announce that we will be moving our photography studio from Quitman and opening in Winnsboro, TX on September 1, 2022!

We signed our lease yesterday on a BEAUTIFUL historic building in the heart of Winnsboro, Texas!  Our new studio will be located at 113 E Elm St, Winnsboro, TX.  This building was built in 1907 and is in the Art District, right next to the Culture Club Art Gallery.  It is going to be the Perfect studio space with TONS of room for several setups.

We are excited to be part of the construction process.  There is a 10 ft section of the wall that we are having the plaster removed to show exposed brick.  It will look similar to this one.  The brick will go up about 10 feet of the 14 foot ceilings.  Then, we are going to have a ledge at the top of the brick where it meets the plaster to deter any crumbling of the wall later on down the road.

Additionally, the owner of the building is having WOOD floors installed in the front and he is letting us pick out the stain color.  If you have any suggestions, we’d love to hear them!

By the way, did you SEE that ceiling? Ahhh!  It’s Gorgeous!  It was painted the original color that it was back when it was built, which just so happens to be one of our studio colors!!!  It also has a really neat light/fan fixture.  The fan, when turned off, folds in on top of the light.  We’ve never seen anything like it. And it’s shiny!  If you know anything about Lorraine Howard, anything shiny and glittery is just perfect!
